Dear Mr. Weston:

Thank you for writing me regarding the proposed Marvin Nichols Water Reservoir. Like you, I am concerned about the proposed reservoir.

While I am not completely opposed to the development of new reservoirs, I believe that conservation and other options must be fully explored first. I am particularly concerned about the proposed mitigation, which I understand would take three times the land actually taken by the reservoir.
