Sulphur River Gallery 35
The Sulphur River
The otherwise murky brown Sulphur
River actually looks quite "elegant" in the autumn of
the year, as it reflects all the golden oak trees lining its legendary
banks. This is a photograph of a slough next to the river, where
the river flows underneath Interstate Highway 30, about 20 miles
from Mount Pleasant.
These are two views of the river
from the I-30 bridge, looking northwardly.
The Sulphur River flows southeasterly
underneath the I-30 bridge.
This is a view of the Sulphur River
looking east from the bridge on US Highway 259, a couple of miles
north of its intersection with I-30. See also Gallery
4.
This is a view looking west from
the US 259 bridge.
This northwest view is about a mile
south of the bridge on US Highway 259.
