White Oak Creek, Central
This is a view looking south along
State Highway 37 towards the bridge over White Oak Creek about
5 miles north of Mount Vernon.
This view of central White Oak Creek
is looking west from the bridge.
This view of the creek is to the
east. Note the rare forked white oak tree on the right bank of
the creek. Once you become aware of the white bark of these trees,
they vividly stand out against the surrounding landscape.
